I traveled back in time whilst on streets like Upper Brooke St. and places like Covent Garden today. Places where, in my mind, I once resided and frolicked around with my reformed rake of a husband back in the 19th century. I imagined running in the rain with Alec Knight, waltzing in the Westmoreland's ballrooms in the evening and speeding on a phaeton through Hyde Park at dusk.
This stop-over in London was absolutely mesmerizing, yet short-lived. you were de-ja vu to me. not quite expected, but familiar in some way. i will miss you, beautiful city.
and p.s. I totally went to a service at Westminster Abbey this evening!
be proud, jealous, etc.
